Stakeholder-Engagement-DoubleMat

Stakeholder Engagement & Double Materiality

Identifying the relevance of material topics is a key step in defining which data points to report. It is essential to have a process and methodology that meets both standard and regulatory requirements. The tool allows direct surveys to be sent, materiality models to be calibrated, and topic relevance to be automatically calculated.

Performance-Management

Performance Management

ESGeo is designed to help companies define strategic and action plans to improve ESG impacts, monitoring results over time through budgeting, planning, and simulation processes. It also enables the assignment of mid-period goals to business units and managers to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of declared targets.

Value-Chain

Value Chain

Corporate responsibility, both legal and reputational, extends across the entire value chain. ESGeo allows to manage suppliers through assessments, due diligence, and the collection of indirect impacts. On a single platform, it's possible to monitor the supply chain using multiple sources: direct surveys, third-party ratings, open platform participation, etc. Additionally, ESGeo is also able to standardize different methodologies, providing the company with a proprietary score.

Risk-Assestment

Risk Management

ESGeo enables the mapping, management, and monitoring of ESG risks, both direct, within the organization, and indirect, originating from partners and suppliers. It allows the definition of financial risks and opportunities related to environmental and social factors. Using Monte Carlo simulations, the platform can generate scenarios and simulations to calculate the likelihood of negative impacts or failure to meet the strategic targets communicated to the market.

Collaborative-Disclosure

Collaborative Disclosure

The platform allows the creation of customizable sustainability reports with tailored layouts for more effective communication strategies. It ensures a collaborative data collection and reporting process where different users can easily complete their tasks. Specific Word and Excel ADD-INs ensure that data collected during the data collection process remains correctly aligned and up to date in the final report.

We help companies turn ESG data into real value and informed decisions.

We believe that ESG reporting should be simple, transparent, and perfectly aligned with corporate strategy to achieve concrete and lasting results. At ESGeo, we are committed to creating value for our clients by supporting them through every stage of their sustainability journey. Our suite simplifies ESG reporting by seamlessly integrating financial and non-financial performance. With ESGeo, you can monitor your ESG program performance in real time, manage materiality goals, and take timely action to stay aligned with your strategic plans.

SOME OF OUR MODULES

Data Collection

A Structured, Collaborative, and Centralized Data Gathering Process

The ESGeo Suite revolutionizes ESG data collection by transforming it into a centralized, traceable, and collaborative process,  overcoming the inefficiencies of traditional, fragmented tools.

By adopting ESGeo, companies gain access to a single, integrated repository for managing all Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data. This eliminates the need to juggle separate Excel files or rely on isolated vertical systems dedicated to individual topics, ensuring data consistency, transparency, and efficiency across the entire organization.

Integrated Approval Workflow

The suite's native workflow engine enables a clear, structured, and auditable data management process:

  • contributors input data related to their specific areas of expertise;
  • department managers and central functions oversee the validation and approval, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of the information collected.

This approach fosters cross-functional engagement, promoting a high level of accountability, traceability, and control throughout the entire ESG data value chain.

Automatic Integration with Internal Systems

ESGeo integrates with existing information systems, enabling automatic data collection from internal sources without the need for manual intervention.

This results in a more efficient, traceable, and audit-ready process, providing a robust foundation for the preparation of the Non-Financial Statement and other sustainability-related disclosures.

The suite also offers advanced features to enhance data quality and usability:

  • custom KPIs: easily define and manage tailored performance indicators using pre-configured tools for direct input and centralized ESG data governance via an intuitive omnichannel interface;
  • conversion formulas: harmonize data from different systems and formats by applying automated conversion logic, ensuring consistency and comparability of ESG metrics;
  • organizational unit mapping: Use dedicated functions to accurately assign data to specific business units, supporting structured analysis and detailed, unit-level reporting.

Survey

Tailored and integrated ESG supplier assessment

The ESGeo Survey module enables organizations to conduct structured, transparent, and fully digital ESG assessments of their supply chain.

Leveraging the suite's flexibility, a dedicated supplier portal has been developed, allowing suppliers to securely access the system, register their company details, and complete a customized ESG questionnaire tailored to their specific industry.

Sector-Specific Questionnaires and Customized Methodology

Each questionnaire is built with industry-specific questions and scoring methodologies, designed to reflect the unique ESG characteristics and challenges of each sector. This targeted approach ensures accurate, comparable, and context-relevant evaluations, avoiding generic, one-size-fits-all assessments.

To ensure transparency and data integrity, suppliers are prompted to upload supporting documentation for the information provided during the questionnaire.

Once submitted, the system instantly generates an ESG performance score, along with:

  • a detailed, criteria-based evaluation report;
  • an overall ESG rating, usable as an objective metric in tenders, vendor qualification, and ongoing supplier monitoring.

The score is automatically integrated into the Client Supplier Portal, enabling seamless alignment with procurement workflows and end-to-end ESG performance management across the supply chain.

Collaborative Disclosure Management

Dedicated Sustainability Reporting Modules

Part of the ESGeo Suite, Collaborative Disclosure Management (CDM) is the dedicated module for managing sustainability reporting documents in a structured, traceable, and controlled way, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the drafting process.
With ESGeo CDM, users can configure the full structure of the sustainability report, from the general index down to individual chapters and sub-sections, in a modular and dynamic format. Each section is handled as an independent Word document, enabling seamless collaboration across teams. Once content and data are finalized, all sections are automatically compiled and exported in various formats for publication.

Collaborative Workflow and Role-Based Access

ESGeo CDM supports a collaborative workflow aligned with the ESG data collection process:

  • contributors:  enter content and update relevant data;
  • approvers: validate and align content with internal standards and guidelines;
  • readers: review and oversee the overall consistency of submissions.

This structured workflow promotes accountability, clarity, and version control, streamlining the review and approval process across departments.

Integrated with ESG Data Tables

The application is directly connected to the ESG data repository. Data tables, grouped by Environmental, Social, and Governance topics, are automatically linked to the relevant sections of the report, ensuring that the final disclosure document is data-driven, consistent, and compliant.

Data Integration

Each reporting document is directly integrated with the ESGeo Data Collection environment through a proprietary API Layer and Microsoft Word and Excel Add-in. This powerful feature enables users to embed validated, real-time data from ESG data tables into the reporting document, ensuring that all content is fully aligned with official reporting figures.
Thanks to this dynamic connection, every update made in the data repository is immediately reflected in the corresponding sections of the report, eliminating manual copy-paste operations and minimizing the risk of inconsistencies and errors.
This level of integration guarantees:

  • data integrity throughout the entire reporting cycle;
  • greater efficiency in drafting and updating reports;
  • full traceability from source data to final disclosure;
  • alignment with audit and assurance requirements.

The result is a streamlined, accurate, and compliant reporting process, empowering organizations to produce high-quality, data-driven sustainability disclosures.

ESGeo Materiality
